Description: Caroline Keetch, Founding Director of Halsey Keetch, and passionate advocator of the importance of inclusion in the workplace, will host a series of sessions exploring where gaps in managing inclusive recruitment processes appear. The session will include; an overview of the work we handle at Halsey Keetch, to set the scene / contextualise the session; a summary of key common mistakes; a case study of a typical search process. The session will illustrate the life-cycle of a search and the opportunities and threats that appear when it comes to running an inclusive process, with a view to protecting the possibility of a diverse hiring outcome.
Since founding Halsey Keetch, Inclusion, Equity and Diversity (I, E&D) has been of passionate interest to our firm. Caroline has been an active Ambassador for the Diversity Project since 2016 and is involved in a range of initiatives and working groups. We were a founding member of the Diversity Project Charity in early 2020, and an early signatory to the ‘Change the Race : Ratio’ campaign, launched in late 2020 by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). Caroline recently wrote a report, ‘I before D is the way it must be…’ which has been published by the Diversity Project. A focus on inclusion and diversity is embedded in all the work our company undertakes.
We have mastered the art of online events, with inclusion at the core of every discussion that we host. We keep guest numbers for individual events low so that we can include every participant in our events, enabling a balanced selection of views and opinions, as well as encouraging discussion and ideas sharing. There is nothing disconnected or impersonal about our online sessions and it is always a pleasure to welcome new guests. We hope to bring people together at some in-person events in 2022.
