Board Effectiveness Reviews

Boards are increasingly reviewing their ‘effectiveness’ on a regular basis, through internally or externally managed processes. Appropriately structuring and executing such reviews to ensure they provide real benefits is an evolving discipline, involving both art and science.

How to ensure a smooth process and a valuable outcome, with Ian White.

Ian White has been a reviewing board effectiveness for more than a decade, following a previous 20-year legal career with firms including Allianz Global Investors, Morgan Stanley and The Openwork Partnership. Ian has undertaken board effectiveness reviews for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and FTSE Small Cap companies, private equity-backed companies, building societies, SMEs and not-for-profit organisations.

Ian will co-host this special event for us and will present on the lessons he has learnt from a long career phase reviewing Boards for many different organisations. He will subsequently lead a roundtable discussion drawing upon attendees’ observations from their own careers.
