As we approach five successful years since our rebrand to Halsey Keetch, we have started to think very carefully not only about what we hope to achieve as a business, but also about what we want to give back – to the community, to our own hardworking team, and also to the industry that we work within. Our purpose is not just about our own projects and our own business targets, but also about our social responsibility as a business, the sustainability of our office and the impact of our work and travel, the way we treat our people and all those with whom we interact, and the transparency with which we communicate this aspect of our work, thinking and activity with our network.
A lot is going on here behind the scenes relating to this, but to ‘kick’ things off (excuse the pun), this Autumn Halsey Keetch sponsored a local football club, Walton & Hersham Youth Football Club, enabling them to buy 235 jackets for all the teams in the club, and for their coaches. Not only do they look extremely smart, but most importantly they help the club’s players and coaches cope with many hours training and playing football in the cold, wind and rain. The jackets were delivered last week and are already being put to very good use. Danny Kent, from the club’s Committee, says: “This amazing sponsorship from Halsey Keetch has enabled every child in the club to have a warm weather-proof jacket. We are all so delighted with the jackets, and the impact they will have on the club community, as every child will now have protection from those bitter mornings on the playing fields. And they help the club look fantastic too!”
It’s wonderful to see so many smiling faces as a result of this, and we are looking forward to supporting a range of charities and initiatives in 2020. More plans to be announced in January, so watch this space!
