Helen Roberts
Head of Research
Helen’s involvement with Halsey Keetch began in 1995 when she joined Halsey Consulting as a consultant, leading and executing searches for clients in the financial services industry. Having maintained contact over the years with the firm’s directors, and the financial services industry through her husband (formerly an investment banker and now an established company director), Helen re-joined Halsey Keetch in early 2016 as Head of Research, supporting the Executive Search team and Board Practice across all assignments.
A City denizen since the 1980s, Helen graduated from the LSE, then trained as an accountant before moving into finance recruitment for Hays, where she managed the firm’s City office. In the early 1990s, she completed a full-time MBA, then returned to the recruitment industry in 1995, joining Halsey Consulting in its seventh year of trading.
After eight successful years, Helen left Halsey to concentrate on bringing up her three children, who are now university-age. Based in Wales (with frequent visits to London), she continues to hold a variety of voluntary roles including Chair of Governors at the family’s local school, and Chair for the Standards Committee of Powys County Council.
